My 2-year-old figured out the crinkly flaps before she got the shapes right, and now she won't put it down on car rides. The nine chunky pieces are big enough that I'm not worried about her mouthing them, and the whole thing zips shut so nothing rolls under the seat.
The padded case holds everything neatly, and my toddler loves the crinkly flaps almost as much as sorting the nine shapes. It's become our go-to for waiting rooms and restaurant tables.
We toss this in the diaper bag every time we go out — the padded case stays quiet and the shapes are big enough that nothing gets lost. My daughter loves lifting the crinkly flaps to find the pictures, and the nine plastic shapes keep her busy for a full restaurant meal. Worth every penny for travel
