My daughter loves sorting the pieces by color before fitting them into the wooden boards—the shapes are just the right size for her little hands to grip.
My 3-year-old grabbed for the wooden boards the second the box opened, and I love that the shapes stay put while she works on matching colors to the outlines. It's a great quiet-time activity that actually holds her attention for more than five minutes.
The chunky wooden pieces are the perfect size for my 3-year-old's hands, and she'll happily fill the boards for a solid 20 minutes. I love that it's a quiet, screen-free activity that sneaks in shape and color practice without her noticing.
