The octagon and trapezoid get the most play at our house, and I love that the pieces are chunky solid wood instead of flimsy plastic. The bright colors keep my toddler coming back to sort them again and again.

The octagon and trapezoid pieces are a nice change from the usual basic shapes, my two-year-old actually has to think about which hole they fit. The wood feels solid and the paint hasn't chipped at all after a few weeks of daily play.

My two-year-old figured out the star and triangle within a day, and the chunky wooden pieces are easy for little hands to grab. Only gripe is that a couple of the shapes fit a bit loosely, so they slide out if she tips the box. Still a solid hit at our house.
