My 2-year-old asks for this every night now, mostly so she can pop the buttons herself while we count the animals down. The board pages are thick enough that she hasn't torn one yet, which says a lot.
My toddler actually looks forward to bedtime now thanks to this book; the sturdy pages hold up well to enthusiastic poking, and the satisfying pop sounds make counting down to sleep feel like a game.
The buttons are fun to pop, but the clicks are quieter than I hoped, so my toddler loses interest quickly. It’s sturdy enough for rough handling, though.
