My 18-month-old figured out the switch on her own within a day, and now she walks around the house pressing it just to hear the counting. The ABC mode is clearer than I expected for a fabric ball, and it's survived being thrown down the stairs twice already.
Flipping those reversible fabric panels to match the number it's saying turned into my daughter's favorite little game. The switch between ABC and counting modes is stiff enough that she can't change it mid-play, which honestly saves my sanity.
The counting mode has been a lifesaver on car rides — my 2-year-old flips the fabric panels herself to match the number she hears. The switch between ABCs and counting is stiff enough that she can't change it mid-song, which I appreciate more than I expected.
