My two-year-old figured out the matching picture under each number piece on her own, which surprised me since she's usually more into dumping toys out. The ten pieces are easy for her to grab, and I like that zero gets its own spot instead of being skipped.

The chunky pegs are the perfect size for my 18-month-old's hands, and he can actually pull the pieces out by himself. The counting pictures underneath each number have been great for starting to talk about quantities with him.

Thomas X. ★★★★★

The chunky wooden pegs are the perfect size for my 3-year-old to grab, and she loves matching the numeral to the little pictures underneath. Counting the items hidden under each piece has genuinely helped her connect the symbol to the quantity.
