The Melissa & Doug Market Basket Fill & Spill is a 5-piece sensory toy that lets infants and toddlers discover textures and sounds in a fun way. Little ones can fill the mesh grocery tote with a chiming milk bottle, a crinkling head of lettuce, a rattling tomato, and a squeaking carrot, encouraging skill-building, screen-free play with every "a-ha!" moment of discovery.
The crinkle sound on the little produce pieces keeps my 8-month-old entertained way longer than I expected. She's just starting to grab things, so the chunky shapes are perfect for her tiny hands. Been tossing them in the diaper bag for outings too.
The mesh tote is the best part—my toddler spends ages stuffing the little food pieces in and dumping them back out. Each one has a different texture or sound, so it keeps her busy way longer than I expected.
The mesh tote is my toddler's favorite part, she loves squishing the crinkly banana and dropping it back in. It's been three weeks and the fabric still looks new after being chewed on daily.
