Standing against a lush green background, a lion, an elephant and a giraffe are waiting to play. Extra thick wooden puzzle includes three pieces, with jumbo wooden knobs for easy grasping. Full-color, matching pictures appear underneath each piece. Encourage hand-eye, fine motor and visual perception skills.
The jumbo knobs are the real winner here — my 2-year-old can grab the elephant and lion all by herself without me helping. The pieces are thick enough that she hasn't been able to chew through them yet, which is saying something.
My 18-month-old figured out how to pull the elephant piece out on her own within a day, and the chunky wooden knobs mean her little hands can actually grip them. The pieces are thick enough that she can't bend or chew them, which is a relief. Only three animals, but she keeps going back to it.
The jumbo knobs are perfect for my toddler's small hands—she can actually pull the lion out on her own instead of me helping every time. The pieces are thick enough that she can't bend or chew them up like the cheaper cardboard ones we had before.
