The pages really do stay clean since the pen only holds water, and the safari scenes pop with color the second my daughter swipes over them. She’s gone through the four pages twice in one sitting and still wants more, which says a lot for a two-year-old’s attention span.
My toddler sat quietly for a solid twenty minutes on our road trip, watching the safari scenes pop to life with just water. The pages dry back to white fast enough that we can repeat the whole thing before we've even reached our destination, and I love that there's no paint or markers to clean up.
The refillable pen is chunky enough for little fingers, and I love that we can hand it to our toddler without needing a wipe-down afterward. My son giggles every time the giraffe appears, and the pages have held up great after a couple of weeks of daily use.
