Bought these for my son's third birthday and he's barely put them down since. The wooden pieces are chunky enough for little hands to grip, and he loves clicking the wheels onto the car body himself.
My 4-year-old figured out how to snap the blocks into a little plane on his own within minutes, which never happens with his other toys. The pieces are chunky enough for small hands to grip without getting frustrated, and cleanup is quick since everything fits back in the box.
The solid wood pieces feel great in hand and the blocks click together easily. My toddler built a plane and a car in minutes, and I can see it helping his fine motor skills.
