Quick answer
If your child loves detailed coloring and you want a mess-free, shareable activity, choose the Jumbo Coloring Pad. For a quick, novel, and tidy creative experience that also works as notes, go with the Scratch Art Rainbow Mini Notes.
What each activity offers
The Jumbo Coloring Pad provides 50 oversized pages of outline drawings—flowers, princesses, horses, and more—printed on one side only. That means no smudging and easy tear-out for sharing or displaying.
Scratch Art Rainbow Mini Notes offer a different kind of creativity: kids use a wooden stylus to etch doodles and notes on 125 mini rainbow sheets, revealing colors underneath. The included desktop dispenser box keeps everything organized.
Key differences to consider
The coloring pad is a classic coloring experience: it requires crayons or colored pencils (not included) and encourages longer, focused sessions. The scratch art notes are self-contained—the stylus is included—and offer a quicker, more tactile activity.
The coloring pad's large 11" x 14" pages are great for younger children who need bigger spaces, while the mini notes (125 sheets) are more portable and suited for on-the-go or older kids who enjoy fine-motor work.
Another difference: the scratch art notes are FSC-certified, meaning the paper comes from responsibly managed forests. The coloring pad's paper sourcing isn't specified, so if eco-certification matters to you, that's a point in favor of the scratch art.
How to choose
- Choose the Jumbo Coloring Pad if…: Your child enjoys traditional coloring, needs large pages, or you want an activity that can be shared by multiple kids (pages tear out cleanly). Pair it with crayons or colored pencils for a complete setup.
- Choose Scratch Art Rainbow Mini Notes if…: You want a mess-free, self-contained activity that also serves as note paper, or if you value FSC-certified materials. Keep the dispenser box handy for tidy storage and easy access.
- Consider both if…: Your child likes variety. Use the coloring pad for longer creative sessions and the scratch art notes for quick, portable fun. Rotate between them to keep screen-free art exciting.
