Quick answer
Choose Blockables City Deluxe Play Set if you want one large, focused building experience with 54 pieces. Choose the Blockables All Around Town Gift Bundle if you want two smaller themed sets (73-piece Town and 54-piece Vehicles) for variety and gift-giving.
Piece count and play pattern
City Deluxe comes as a single 54-piece set, while All Around Town bundles a 73-piece Town Play Set with a 54-piece Vehicles Play Set. The bundle gives you more total pieces and two distinct themes, but each set is smaller than City Deluxe. If your child prefers one deep build, City Deluxe offers more pieces in one place; if they like switching between town and vehicle play, the bundle provides that variety.
Price and value
At catalog prices, City Deluxe is $56.31 (compared to $87.99), and All Around Town is $46.19 (compared to $76.98). The bundle costs less upfront and includes more pieces overall, but City Deluxe has a higher piece count in a single set. Consider whether you value a larger single set or two smaller sets for the difference in price.
Expansion and storage
Both sets use the same snap-together wooden blocks, so they can be combined. If you start with All Around Town, you can later add City Deluxe for more pieces, or vice versa. Storage is simpler with one set, while the bundle’s two boxes may take more space. Note that the bundle items may ship separately.
Key trade-offs
- Piece count vs. variety: City Deluxe offers 54 pieces in one set; All Around Town offers 127 pieces across two themed sets (73 Town + 54 Vehicles). More pieces in one set may suit a child who builds elaborate single structures, while two sets offer more variety for siblings or changing interests. Decide whether your child prefers depth (one big build) or breadth (two themes).
- Upfront cost vs. long-term value: All Around Town costs less at $46.19 (compared to $76.98) and includes more pieces overall. City Deluxe costs $56.31 (compared to $87.99) but provides a larger single set. Consider your budget and whether you plan to expand later. If budget is tight, the bundle gives more pieces for less money.
- Storage and shipping: City Deluxe arrives as one set, while All Around Town may ship as two separate packages. Storage is simpler with one box, but the bundle’s two boxes can be stored separately or combined. Plan for storage space if you choose the bundle.
