My 4-year-old has been using these to practice simple addition, and the five math signs are what really sold me over plain number magnets. The pieces cling well to our fridge and haven't chipped even after a few drops on the tile.

The wooden case keeps all 37 pieces together so we're not hunting for the number 7 under the couch anymore. My son likes lining up the math signs to make little equations, and the magnets hold tight on the fridge.

My daughter already counts past twenty, but the five math signs are what sold me — she's been making little equations on the fridge all week. The magnets hold tight, no sliding down. Thirty-seven pieces is plenty for two kids to share without fighting over the numbers.
